CUT-OFF KNIFE FOR COLD HEADING MACHINES
The cut-off tool of the cold heading machine consists of a cut-off matrix and a cut-off knife. The cutting knife is used to obtain a measured workpiece. The quality of the cut workpiece depends on the quality of the knife.

To do this, it is necessary to clarify the size of the seats for machine tooling, the model of the cold heading machines used and the diameter of the wire used for upsetting fasteners, hardware and parts.
During fastener-making production, after the wire has been successfully drawn to size, it enters the inside of the cold heading machine. It then goes through a cut-off die and continues until it reaches a wire stop. At this point, a cut-off knife moves across the wire, cutting it off to a specific length.
